Refinery Streamline for Refining Depth Increase: Essence, Advantages and Priority of "Viscosity Breaking-Termakat" TechnologyWe position "Viscosity breaking-Termakat" technology as light prolonged viscosity breaking, which runs in consequent reactors of evaporation type at temperature of 400-450îÑ and pressure of 2-6 atm. Similar techlologies have firms Shell and Chioda. The processes are intended for maximal conversion of heavy hydrocarbons into diesel-gasoline distillate fractions, with the outcome of up to 40-60%, and by "Viscosity breaking - Òermakat" processing - up to 88-93%. In the residue with minimal volume there are unoxidized bitumens, or pitches, or power-plant fuel, or raw material for coking, hydrocracking or gasification.
We suggest not the ultrasound, nor cavitation. We suggest the technology of prolonged viscosity breaking of heavy residual fractions, the conversion of which into average distillate fractions for 60-90% is quite predictable. Take attention to the technologies of Shell and Chioda: heavy atmosphere and vacuum distillates are sent to the furnace of hard cracking? As the result - the outcome of fractions with tk>370oC IS EXCLUDED! The products consist of only gasoline-diesel fractions and very heavy residue. There are NO heavy gas-oils!!!
"Viscosity breaking-Òermakat" technology uses cavitational effects for intensification of heavy hydrocarbons destruction processes and for resinous-pyrobitumen complexes dispersion. Cavitational-acoustic pumps (CAP) have packless magnetic drive and are made for any prodictivity. With their exclusion from the scheme, the temperature in furnace and reactors should be raised for 20-60îÑ, which is quite undesirable because of possible start of carbens formation. The technology was embedded in 2005 in Poland.
The use of "Viscosity breaking-Òermakat" technology elements for factory processes modernization ensures increase of light fractions outcome for 15-30% and guarantees processing depth more than 90% for any petroleum refinery. The technology is easy adaptive and remarkable for its simple equipment design and low cost. Integration of "Viscosity breaking-Òermakat" with factory processes besides refinery intensification provides additional technological effects: with vacuum distillation - excludes tar outcome and lowers the residue outcome in 2-3 times; with slow coking - excludes heavy gas-oil outcome and lowers the outcome of high-sulfur unclaimed cokes; with viscosity breaking - lowers the outcome of fuel oil Ì-100 more than in 2 times . Integration with catalytic processes is effective as the technology, providing more light-weight raw stock.
The priority of domestic development is confirmed by the history of ÅÐÑ-conferences holding, concerning the technologies of black oil processing: in April, 2007, Òermakat performed the report "Viscosity breaking-Òermakat"- the process for maximal output of diesel and gasoline", and after 3 years, at the ÅÐÑ conference, in April, 2010, Shell declared the report "The technology of thermal cracking for diesel production volume increase. The opportunities of maximal petroleum refinery benefits increase in short terms by modernization of exhisting thermal cracking plants".
